RELIEF FOR REALTORS® IMPACTED BY WILDFIRES & OTHER NATURAL DISASTERS
We have been helping the REALTOR® family recover from natural disasters for more than 15 years. The C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund was established in the wake of the devastating 2003 California wildfires, thanks to generous contributions from the California Association of REALTORS®, state and local REALTOR® associations and other contributors, and provides grants for REALTORS®, employees of REALTORS® and association staff.
If you have experienced property damage and/or loss due to the wildfires, or suffered from a recent natural disaster and need assistance, you may be eligible for a grant from the C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund.
1. C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund Donation - Please help us continue our efforts by making a tax-deductible contribution to the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS'® Disaster Relief Fund.
To make a tax-deductible donation by check, please make payable to the California Community Foundation and write "C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund" on the "memo" line. Send checks to the California Community Foundation, 221 S. Figueroa St., Suite 400, Los Angeles, CA 90012. For questions, please contact disasterrelief@car.org or call (213) 739-8327.
2. The El Dorado Community Foundation has also established a local fund to support victims of the Caldor Fire. Thank you for supporting the victims of the Caldor Fire through your donation to the Caldor Fire Fund. Your entire donation will go to support the families impacted by this fire. These are our friends, neighbors, and families. With your support, we can help to make a difference in the lives of those who need us now more than ever.

The El Dorado County Association of Realtors® is collecting information about EDCAR members who are struggling due to the recent Caldor Fire. If you or someone you know has been impacted by the fire, or they have lost their home or other property, please fill out the form below. This will help us access our members’ needs, and determine if we need to establish an additional disaster relief fund to assist.
