Tour & Marketing Meeting

   Sign in to MetroList. Open Prospector+ from your MetroList dashboard.

   Open your listings. Under the Listings tab, select View/Revise Your Listings.

   Revise the correct listing. Select the pencil icon for the property you want featured.

   Select MetroList Caravan Dates. Do not use the separate “Broker Tour” field; EDCAR staff receives listings through the Caravan Dates section.

   Choose the EDCAR tour. In the caravan dropdown, select EDCAR – Primary for the desired Thursday and save the listing.

• Listings must be added to the MetroList Caravan Dates section by 10:00 AM Tuesday during the week of tour. When Monday is a holiday, the deadline may be extended to 11:00 AM Tuesday.
• Announcements must be approved by the Association and submitted before 10:00 AM Tuesday. Contact EDCAR in advance for an event or meeting announcement.
• Add-on listings may be accepted depending on current market conditions and staff availability.
• Tour sheets are generally available at the EDCAR office late Tuesday morning, at the weekly meeting, and online through the current tour sheet link.
• EDCAR currently hosts one primary Thursday meeting. Camino/Pollock Pines and Georgetown/Cool operate separate caravan meetings with their own procedures.
• Re-tours are limited to substantial property changes, such as new flooring. The reason for the re-tour should be stated in the tour comments.
• Price reductions are announced separately. A re-tour based on price reduction requires at least a 5% reduction and advance notice to EDCAR before the Tuesday cutoff rather than a standard Prospector submission.
• Homes should be available from approximately 9:45 AM, or a reasonable time after the meeting concludes, through 12:30 PM. An agent, assistant, owner, or lockbox must provide access.
• An “Open House” sign must be visible at the property. Agents should not enter when the sign is missing. This requirement does not apply to the Pollock Pines caravan.
• Tour is intended for residential family homes. New construction should be substantially complete and ready for occupancy, with the driveway installed.
• Only REALTORS® may pitch homes. Affiliates may not pitch a listing or approve it on behalf of a REALTOR®. When the listing agent cannot attend, another REALTOR® should present the property. Listings without a presenting REALTOR® may be removed from tour.
• Card appraisals or requests asking REALTORS® to estimate a listing price are not permitted in El Dorado County.
• Agents may offer refreshments or drawings at their open houses. Drawing winners must be selected at the next tour meeting by the agent, an associate, or the tour director.
• RESPA rules may restrict some Affiliates from providing meeting refreshments. Contact EDCAR when unsure whether a sponsorship activity is permitted.
• Place the listing in the correct tour zone and keep remarks appropriate and accurate.
• EDCAR REALTOR®/Affiliate Tour Meetings are open to EDCAR REALTORS®, REALTOR® members of other Associations, and EDCAR Affiliates. A member may bring a nonmember guest to one meeting; guests may be introduced but are asked not to address the meeting.
